Warning! Please take care! This challenge is not suitable for children. Be sure to have plenty of milk to hand as this is better than water for reducing the heat and DO NOT touch your eyes when handling chilli peppers. Eating very hot chilli peppers can cause breathing problems, vomiting and other health problems. Do not eat hot Chilli Peppers if you have stomach issues & consult your doctor if you have any other ongoing health concerns or issues.  If you start to feel ill, stop!
Read more about the effects of Chilli Peppers in this BBC article.

What is it?

Scotch Bonnet, Trinidad Scorpion, Caroline Reaper... How much heat are you prepared to to take to support disadvantaged children in the UK?

The Happy Days Chilli Challenge is all about:

1. Eating the most fiendishly fiery chilli pepper fodder you can handle.

2. Taking pictures or videos and sharing them on social media.

3. Getting friends and family to cough up (as much as possible!) in sponsorship.

How You Can Help

We'll send you a fundraising pack complete with sponsor forms and fundraising bits, you come up with the challenge! Here are a few ideas:

  • Keep it old school - go for raw chilli (the hotter the better) and set your target

  • Go head to head with friends - who'll reach for the water first?!

  • Curry lovers - can you manage a mouth numbing phall

  • Add some real heat - a Naga Viper with your hot wings sir?

Set a date, set a venue, start getting sponsored. Simple!
